Inside of the structure is a corpse holding the soul, though additional Thralls lie in ambush. - In the interior of the cathedral, there is a path after the first shortcut back to the Cleansing Chapel that is guarded by a large Giant Slave. One of the corpses along this route holds the item. - On the bottom floor of the cathedral interior, within the sludge at the feet of the first Giant Slave. A corpse beneath the Giant Slave and near to the large double doors holds the consumable. - Catacombs of Carthus - At the bottom of the ladder in the first section of the tomb, a corpse sitting against a wall holds the item. - A lone pathway to the right after some stairs past the initial bridge is guarded by two headless skeletons. Beyond these two skeletons is a corpse holding the soul consumable. - Grand Archives - Held by a corpse within the dark room after the first wax pool, against some bookshelves against the back wall and protected by Clawed Curses. - Archdragon Peak - Past the initial gauntlet and ascending the stairs after the first bonfire, a corpse dangling off of a ledge to the right can be looted for the item. - The Ringed City - Dropped by White-faced Locusts.
