The soul can be looted from a corpse right before the encounter. - Archdragon Peak - Past the Great Belfry, there is a large courtyard with ruins and numerous Man Serpents. The item is found on a corpse close to Hawkwood the Deserter's summon sign. - Painted World of Ariandel - In the Snowy Mountain Pass, near the end is a valley with an Earth Seeker wielding Millwood Knight. The soul can be found on a corpse lying against the large tree in the center of the valley. - The Ringed City - At the end of the great stairway leading to the Ringed City Streets, three Harald Legion Knights will rise up from the swamp. The soul can be found on a corpse in front of them. - On the way to the Purging Monument, after climbing down the ladder and crossing the bridge over the great stairway, the soul can be found on a corpse to the left of the bridge, with the path leading to the Purging Monument on the right.
